It\u00b4s all about helping you to make better use of digital media to move ahead with your artistic career.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

National Artist Teams (NATs) are first and foremost artists focused on collaborating inside their local\/regional groups and as importantly between the 7 PMP partners\u2019 artists located in 6 different EU countries. They exist in\u00a0collectives, clubs, gatherings, or interest groups<\/strong>\u00a0for these artists and others who wish to\u00a0learn, share, have conversations and co-create together with other artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NATs consist of artists who are interested in the\u00a0international development of their careers, despite not having as many opportunities for their career development as some others<\/strong>. They are artists with diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities (due to e.g. minority status, societal, financial, or geographical challenges, disability, ethnicity or any other reason).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We will select 4-20 artist from each participating country (Finland, Italy, Croatia, Slovakia, Spain and Malta<\/strong>). After the selection, all NATs are invited to join\u00a0online-seminars<\/strong>\u00a0and are eligible to apply to 5 \u00a0workshop weeks<\/strong>\u00a0organised in 5 different countries during the\u00a03-year project.<\/strong>\u00a0Each workshop week will have 4 artist participating from each country. Participants\u00a0travel, accommodation and food costs are covered and a per diem will be paid<\/strong>. All workshop participants can apply for\u00a02-month residency<\/strong>\u00a0for working on the toolkit and their own creative work. Selected residency participants will be\u00a0supported by an honorarium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Workshops, online seminars and all other project activities are built on five themes: Media & Art, Online Media & Digital, Storytelling, Social Media & Media Readership, Future Media and Professional Identity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

National Artist Teams\u00a0gather monthly<\/strong>\u00a0to discuss art, current topical issues, to co-create, to learn from one another and expert lectures, to have pizza, positive energy and peer-support. The final structure and content of the NAT gatherings will be decided by the artists themselves. At the end of the PMP project, an\u00a0international, multi-media and multi-art exhibition<\/strong>\u00a0will take place simultaneously in 6 locations around Europe. All NAT artists will get an\u00a0opportunity to showcase their art<\/strong>\u00a0at the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The NAT members are eligible to apply to the Professional Media Presence\u00a0workshop -weeks<\/strong>. The\u00a0travelling, accommodation and food will be supported<\/strong>\u00a0for these weeks, and a\u00a0per diem will be paid<\/strong>\u00a0to the artists. At these workshop weeks, NAT members will have the opportunity to\u00a0collaborate with the NATs from other project countries<\/strong>. They will create methods and raw material for the PMP Toolkit. The workshop-week participants are eligible to apply for a\u00a02-month residency<\/strong>, where they will get to develop the toolkit materials further, as well as work on their own art.\u00a0For these residencies, the selected NATs will be supported with an honorarium.<\/div>\n

NAT Open Call<\/h3>\n

Individual artists can become a part of the NAT by applying via an Open Call. This Open Call is now open until 11.6.2023. The Open Call document is a questionnaire, with some basic questions and places for uploading annexes or attaching links.<\/p>\n

NAT Open Call Criteria:<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Applicant is motivated to participate in the project
\n\u2022 Applicant is willing to grow professionally
\n\u2022 Applicant shows artistic potential
\n\u2022 Applicant articulates in their motivation letter their interest and commitment to work in a collaborative\/ multidisciplinary manner in NAT to demonstrate willingness to work and connect with others
\n\u2022 Applicant\u00b4s willingness to share their own artistic and\/or life experiences with others
\n\u2022 Applicant\u2019s interest towards using digital media professionally
\n\u2022 Sufficient understanding of the English language. The PMP working language is English, so sufficient proficiency in English is required.<\/p>\n

All applicants will be informed about the results of the selection by an acceptance letter by 30.6.2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artistic work and copyrights in NATs<\/h3>\n

The ownership, copyright and Intellectual Property Right (IPR) of the artistic work created in PMP stays with the artists, with a right to publish this work as a part of PMP outcomes (e.g. toolkit). Any creations will not be shared or published without permission from the artist. With all legal and contractual questions, including the ownership, copyright and Intellectual Property Right (IPR) issues, the project will follow firstly the laws of Europe and their country, secondly the Grant Agreement done with EACEA, and thirdly the Professional Media Presence Co-operation Agreement.<\/em><\/p>\n
