About the artist
Shivani Hassard is a director & DOP for film and a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London. Her research explores agency, effort and the sense of embodiment in virtual reality. She directed and shot a VR narrative, Sundowning, which was shortlisted for Sheffield Docfest 2017. Her film work has been shown at the London Film Festival, Dazed Digital, gal-dem and BFI Flare.
