MARA ADINA

Filmmaker

Mara Adina is an internationally recognised filmmaker, with works streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max, and screened at prestigious festivals such as Sundance Film Festival, London Film Festival, Hot Docs, and Doc NYC. Originally classically trained as a fine artist, she built a career in filmmaking, crafting politically charged documentaries that confront the harsh realities of our time. In 2022, Mara returned to visual art, merging her cinematic sensibilities with bold, visceral works.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are what makes the website work, so they cannot be switched off. They remember the language you are browsing in and the choice you make in this window. Some pages also embed videos from YouTube and a map from Google: when that content loads, those services may set cookies of their own.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It tells us how the site is used, never who you are. Analytics only starts once you press Accept: until then, nothing is measured.
