PAULA CORTAZAR

Sculptress

Paula Cortazar (Monterrey, Mexico, 1991), currently lives and works in Monterrey, Mexico. Her practice is based mainly on the contemplation of nature. Inspired by her surroundings, her work focuses on plants, river stones, mountains, and other natural elements that can be found near her studio. As a sculptor, she works mostly with stone. But her practice sometimes shifts to other mediums, such as drawing, video and photography.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are what makes the website work, so they cannot be switched off. They remember the language you are browsing in and the choice you make in this window. Some pages also embed videos from YouTube and a map from Google: when that content loads, those services may set cookies of their own.
