HackLab inmersivo e interactivo de New Media Art

Humans , technology and the future: what do these have in common? This is an open call to participate in Immensiva immersive HackLab, Garage Stories and Be Another Lab, to explore and work with emergent media and create experimental pieces, which help us reflect on the complexity of human relations and imagine a future in which technology can help us be more human. From the 14th to the 16th of May, 25 selected creative profiles will come together to, in groups of 5, co-create an experimental piece from diverse technologies and other analogue art forms (photo, video, music, live performance, etc). The piece will be showcased in a collective exhibition titled “Into the humans Labyrinth”, which will open to the public posterior to the HackLab.

The theme that will be explored in the work groups are:
– Power and privilege
– Love
– Family
– Selfteem
– Prejudice

Additionally, in collaboration with Distributed Design/IAAC we are calling for makers and designers, to design the structure and itinerary of the exhibition space within which the HackLab
participants will create their content. The Maker/Designer open call will allow designers to work with KuKa Robot and other technologies.

Participants from the HackLab may apply to both calls if desired.

Who is eligible?
We are looking for creative profiles from diverse backgrounds: coders, writers, designers, architects, psychologists, philosophers, musicias, gamers, performers, visual artists, etc. The call will be open from the 22nd of December to the 31 of March.
