INSIDE-ACT is a European project dedicated to exploring the future of immersive storytelling and its potential to generate social, cultural, and educational impact. Bringing together partners from different disciplines and countries, the project aims to develop innovative approaches that combine creativity, technology, participation, and critical thinking.
The project focuses on the emerging field of immersive experiences, investigating how storytelling can engage audiences through interactive, multisensory, and technology-driven environments. Through research, collaboration, and experimentation, INSIDE-ACT seeks to strengthen the skills and capacities of artists, cultural professionals, educators, and creative practitioners working in this evolving landscape.
A central objective of the project is the development of the Immersive Storytelling Designer (ISD) profile, a new professional role that bridges artistic practice, technological innovation, audience engagement, and social impact.

INSIDE-ACT Survey
As part of its ongoing research, INSIDE-ACT is currently conducting a survey to better understand the needs, experiences, and perspectives of individuals working across the cultural, creative, educational, and technological sectors.
The information collected will help the project partners identify current challenges, emerging opportunities, and future skills requirements within the field of immersive storytelling. The results will contribute to the development of educational resources, training programmes, and recommendations that support the growth of this emerging sector.
