Roundtable: Best Practice in Art and Education

Espronceda is very proud to present its first debate on:
The importance of art in the field of education, social change and social responsibility — best practices from Tokyo to Barcelona. The second part will take place in Tokyo, hosted by Italian artist and Espronceda co-founder Savina Tarsitano.
Nowadays the role of contemporary art is increasingly important. In the face of economic, social and values crises, art is the primary key to creating a new alliance between society and cultures.

Professor Takuya Kaneda of Otsuma Women’s University, international coordinator of the Peace Project Kids-Guernica and ambassador of the Rebirth/ThirdParadise project by Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte, will present: the art project P3578, initiated together with artist Murata Kuniyoshi; his nearly 25 years of experience with the international peace project Kids-Guernica; and his experience with the social change project Rebirth/ThirdParadise by Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte.
