Barcelona, November 2025 — Within the framework of NUBIA LAB INCUBACIÓN IA MÓNS 2025, ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture presents BAMM – Barcelona AI Music Meetup, a gathering dedicated to exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and music.
This edition, titled “U.N.C.A.N.N.Y.”, delves into the strange and fascinating territory of AI-generated sound. The guest of this session is GANTASMO, the AI music project by Daniel Joaquín Trujillo and Josh Valenzuela, and a recent finalist of the AI Song Contest 2024. Their work combines neural composition, environmental sound, and human vocals, embracing the “almost human” quality of AI music as a creative and aesthetic tool.
The event includes a focused talk, Q&A, and open networking, creating a space for producers, independent artists, and creative technologists working with AI in Barcelona to connect and exchange ideas.
GANTASMO, has developed a distinctive practice at the intersection of neural composition, immersive technology, and live performance—exactly the kind of boundary-pushing work BAMM was designed to showcase.

NUBIA LAB is Catalonia’s leading incubation program for digital art and technology, driven by ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture.
The 2025 edition focuses on projects integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR) as creative engines, emphasizing technical implementation, usability design (UI/UX), and a comprehensive 360° mentorship.
Under the theme “Experiment and Conquer the Digital Future,” NUBIA LAB 2025 supports the development of innovative, ethical, and sustainable proposals, positioning Barcelona and Mons as European hubs of digital creativity.

Launched in 2023 by ESPRONCEDA, NUBIA LAB emerged as a pioneering program for digital art incubation, offering training and mentorship to early-stage artists.
