Espronceda, Institute of Art & Culture, joins the launch of CRAFTWORK Academy in Sweden

We are pleased to share the official launch of the CRAFTWORK Academy, with the first pilot program taking place in Skövde, Sweden, from September 5–7, 2025. This initiative is part of the CRAFTWORK 4.0 AL EU project, co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme, and designed to support the development of sustainable and future-ready practices in the arts, design, and creative craftsmanship.

As a committed partner, Espronceda – Institute of Art & Culture is actively contributing to the design and implementation of this innovative training model, which bridges tradition, digital tools, and circular economies. CRAFTWORK Academy provides selected participants with free training, mentorship, and access to an international network of professionals, helping them thrive in today’s evolving cultural landscape.

Love printmaking, paper or linoleum? Join a 3-day experience to learn sustainable techniques, co-create with others and grow your craft with purpose. This academy is a unique opportunity for artists, designers, artisans, and creatives to access free training, mentorship, and international networking to develop sustainable practices in the creative sector. The call is now open for participants who want to join the first pilot academy in Sweden!
