Within the framework of IMMENSIVA 2025 — XR Social Bricks
Barcelona — November 2025 — ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture presents IMMENSIVA Day, the fifth edition of the Immersive Creators Meetup in Barcelona, hosted by the Immensiva Residents and the Espronceda Team. Opening at 18:00 h, the meetup invites XR designers, developers, 3D artists, researchers, and storytellers to connect, share projects, and spark collaborations in a casual yet high-energy environment.
Born in New York, based in Barcelona, and welcoming creators from everywhere, IMMENSIVA Day is a platform for experimentation, networking, and interdisciplinary creation. Participants explore the intersection of XR, AI, creative coding, and storytelling to generate new ideas and prototypes with tangible social impact. The gathering celebrates collaboration, inclusivity, and the exchange of knowledge, fostering the next generation of immersive creators.

IMMENSIVA Day is more than a meetup—it’s a vibrant space for emerging and established voices in immersive art and technology. Showcasing projects from IMMENSIVA 2025, attendees can exchange ideas, connect with potential collaborators, and explore new opportunities in XR, AI, and interactive media. The event invites participants to test prototypes, share insights, and spark collaborations, fostering a global community of creators and opening doors to future projects, residencies, and partnerships.
About the Artists & Organizers
IMMENSIVA Day brings together a diverse group of XR creators, featuring both resident artists and the ESPRONCEDA team. Participants include:

- Kris Pilcher. Works at the intersection of XR, AI, and cultural strategy, supporting artists in developing innovative projects.
- Dani Gonzalez Franco. Specializes in digital art production, XR experiences, and interdisciplinary residencies, facilitating connections between artists, researchers, and cultural institutions.
IMMENSIVA residents:
- Natalia Cabrera — Media artist, filmmaker, and educator from Chile, exploring ecology and emerging technologies through interactive XR narratives.
- Simone Garcia — Digital artist from Cuba, blending symbolism, mythology, and queer erotica in immersive media.
- Aida Corcoy — Digital artist investigating identity, alter egos, and self-awareness through AI, 3D, and augmented reality.
- Pia Behmuaras — Immersive experience designer focusing on the emotional and therapeutic dimensions of XR.
- Nancy El Azzi — Visual artist and art director from Lebanon, combining graphics, sound, and real-time visuals to explore digital chaos and emotion.
- Ailin Bars — Interdisciplinary director from Buenos Aires, exploring gender, sociology, and the environment through performative installations and films.
- Vladislav OSSSO — Barcelona-based artist investigating the tension between physical and virtual spaces, exploring perception and authenticity through art and AI.
Together, they create a vibrant space for collaboration, experimentation, and immersive storytelling, reflecting the spirit of IMMENSIVA 2025.

Celebrating its sixth edition in Catalonia, IMMENSIVA 2025 — XR SOCIAL BRICKS focuses on the intersection between artificial intelligence, extended reality, and collaborative performance. Strengthening its commitment to inclusion, diversity, and sustainability, IMMENSIVA becomes a space for creating XR “Blocks” — immersive prototypes designed for museums, educational institutions, and international festivals. The program encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, merging AI, storytelling, and creative coding to produce works with tangible social impact.
