About the Project

Hands Across Generations (H.A.G.) is a European cooperation project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. Its goal is to preserve Europe’s intangible cultural heritage by connecting generations of artisans through mentorship, sustainability, and digital innovation.

By fostering collaboration between young and experienced makers, the project supports the transmission of traditional craft knowledge, empowers artisans with new skills, and promotes environmentally responsible and inclusive practices across Europe.

The project is implemented by seven partners:

  • Carlow County Council (Ireland)
  • For.ME Social Enterprise (Greece)
  • Submeet – incontrarsi per crescere (Italy)
  • Modus ry (Finland)
  • Nicosia Tourism Board (Cyprus)
  • Lemon Grass Communication / ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture (Spain)
  • Darnaus Vystymo Projektai (Lithuania)

The consortium works together to ensure that Europe’s craft heritage continues to inspire and evolve — from traditional workshops to the digital world.
